Update on Division dues
Issued by: GEORGIA DIVISION ADJUTANT - Timothy Pilgrim
Gentlemen, August 5, 2016
I owe you an up-date on the annual Division Billing Statements. As I mentioned in previous correspondence. Our previous mail out company, out of Columbia, SC informed the Georgia Division along with the other Divisions they also served, that due to the Confederate flag "issue" they are not going to do business with the Sons of Confederate Veterans anymore.
I was able to get a local Georgia Billing / Printing company to take on the job. They had to make some software up-grades to enable them to transfer the data from our rosters to the billing statement. But they have been struggling the last two weeks getting it to work this first go around. Fortunately yesterday they got the system working and I was able to sign off on the proofs.
They assured me the Billing Statements will be mailed out the first of next week. So they are a couple of weeks late getting out, but the good news is the bugs are worked out and we want have these issues with future Billing Statements.
Please inform our members that I apologize for the delay, its been more complex than a standard print job, the our Billing Statements will be coming soon.
Please let me know if you have and questions.
Deo Vindice,
Timothy F. Pilgrim
